Once, after making an escape from Lakshgruh, Pandava brothers were resting in the forest, Hidimba was around and got into a fierce battle with Bhima. During this epic battle, the demon was killed by Bhima. It’s after Hidimba, this hill has been named. Hidimba Parvat also has another attraction in the form of Vankhandi Ashram. It is more like a sanctuary that houses a wide range of wild animals.
